Description

Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position available in Eureka, California. This role involves performing diagnostic and interventional procedures for coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmias, with a focus on coronary diagnostics and interventions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Eureka, California
  • Shift: Days, 10 hours per shift, starting 06/29/2026
  • Schedule: Up to 2 weekends in a 6-week schedule; up to 4 days of call per week; orientation of 30 hours required
  • Required Qualifications: ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) certification, California license in hand, current BLS and ACLS certifications, Fluoro Permit (or pending application), minimum 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath lab, experience with accurate monitoring, Angioplasty, Cardiac Stent Placement, Cardioversion, Carotid Angiography, Carotid Stenting, Central Venous Access/Port Placement, Chest Tube Placement, Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab, Dialysis Graft Creation/Revision, Electrophysiology Lab, Embolization, Endovascular Interventions, Equipment setup, ERCP, Fluoroscopy, Gastrostomy Tube Placement, Hemodynamic Monitoring, Impella Insertion, IVC Filter Placement, Pacemaker Insertion, PACS, Paracentesis, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions, PTCA, PPI, Radioembolization, Renal Artery Stent Placement, Right Heart Catheterization, and related skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, community hospital experience, LTAC or trauma level II experience preferred
  • Additional Information: Candidates must have submitted a copy of all certifications, references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years during compliance process, and have a valid California license. Certification and charting experience in Epic are preferred. Floating within the hospital or nearby affiliated hospitals may be required. Travelers must work two major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year) as part of the assignment.
  • Notes: RTO must be approved at submission. Local candidates within a 50-mile radius accepted. Housing options are available, and the facility is supportive of travelers in finding accommodations.
  • Contract details: Staffing and scheduling are self-managed, with patient ratios and interdisciplinary support available.
