Job Summary:
The position of Physical Therapy Assistant is located in Fort Bragg, California. The role involves providing physical therapy treatments under the supervision of licensed physical therapists, including the use of modalities, manual techniques, and common exercise techniques. The incumbent will instruct and guide patients through functional activities such as bed mobility, transfers, gait, and balance activities. Candidates are required to bring their licensure on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Fort Bragg, California
• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: High School Education/GED or equivalent; Associates/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience; Physical Therapy Assistant licensure in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per organization policy; Minimum of 0 years of experience in physical therapy or related technical experience; Preferable experience with EPIC electronic health record system
• Essential Functions: Performs physical therapy treatments, instructs and guides patients through functional activities, observes and follows treatment precautions, documents interventions and services in patient records, provides education and training to patients and caregivers, assesses education responses, and performs other job-related duties as assigned.
