Job Summary:
A Physical Therapist (PT) specializing in inpatient rehabilitation is sought for a position in Sacramento, California. This role involves working in a state-of-the-art inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital focused on patient recovery from conditions such as traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and orthopedic trauma. Candidates are required to bring their California license on the first day of work.
Job Details:
- Location: Sacramento, California
- Position: Physical Therapist (Inpatient)
- Start Date: July 12, 2026
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a weekly guaranteed 40 hours minimum.
- Required Qualifications: California license; 2 years of recent experience in acute rehabilitation or acute care.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic trauma; familiarity with Cerner electronic health record system.
- Additional Information:
- Patient ratios of 4-5 patients per day with 6 hours of treatment time daily.
- No call requirement or float requirements.
- No scrub color requirement.
- Report time is 8:00 AM.
- Parking is free and adjacent to the building, with parking placards issued.
- Supervisor: Caroline Owen.
- One position available due to replacement of permanent staff.
