Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) position in Corpus Christi, Texas. This role involves working in a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) within a pediatric healthcare facility. Candidates are required to bring their licensure on the first day and possess a strong skill set in pediatric respiratory care, with a minimum of three years of pediatric experience. The position is scheduled for 12-hour daytime shifts, with an expected minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Certifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Education & Experience: Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBR) with 3-5 years of pediatric experience; 5 years pediatric experience preferred but will not consider less than 3 years
• Location Requirements: Must have strong pediatric experience; no local candidates within a 100-mile radius; candidates must have COVID-19 vaccination (no exemptions)
• Schedule: 12-hour daytime shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Additional Information: This role requires strong skill set, adherence to charting, charging, performance, and conduct standards consistent with those of the organizations own staff. Absences count against the employee, and frequent call-ins may result in termination. No time off will be granted for 8-13 week contracts.
