Job Summary:
The Ultrasound Technologist is located in North Bergen, New Jersey. This position involves performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures with a focus on breast imaging, utilizing high-frequency sound waves to detect abnormalities. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role entails providing high-quality imaging services within a collaborative healthcare environment.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: R.D.M.S. registered, Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), graduate of an approved Ultrasound School, with a minimum of 2 years of training in Allied Health or college.
• Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Proficiency in Breast Ultrasound Techniques, Image Acquisition and Optimization, Knowledge of Breast Anatomy and Pathology, Equipment Operation and Maintenance, Image Archiving and Retrieval (PACS), Breast Interventions, and Quality Control and Assurance.
• Preferred Qualifications: 5 plus years of Breast Experience.
• Additional Information: Experience with breast biopsies and breast screening is required.
