Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General in Palo Alto, California. This position involves conducting sonographic procedures utilizing ultrasound diagnostic equipment under the supervision of a physician or supervisor. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. The role focuses on performing various ultrasound examinations to help gather diagnostic data, ensuring equipment functionality, and maintaining detailed records in accordance with facility protocols.
Job Details:
- Location: Palo Alto, California
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification, ability to perform general abdominal, small parts, OB-GYN, and limited vascular sonography, and possess a standard license or certification. No prior experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, ultrasound physics, safety principles, and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include operating ultrasound equipment, obtaining diagnostic images, following infection prevention procedures, interpreting physician instructions, and utilizing ancillary systems such as Kinetdx and PACS for image management.
