Job Summary:
The Ultrasound Technologist (General) position is located in Smyrna, Tennessee. This role involves providing ultrasound services across OB/GYN, vascular, abdominal, and other studies within a hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Smyrna, Tennessee
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RDMS (ABD, OB/GYN) certification, RVT certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, Tennessee or eligible state licensure, and no minimum years of experience required
- Additional Information:
- General Comments: The team is very experienced, with ultrasound machines purchased in 2017.
- Procedures performed include OB/GYN, vascular, abdominal, pediatrics, and possibly thoracentesis or paracentesis.
- The unit operates 24/7 with no floating policy.
- Dress code is scrubs in Caribbean Blue.
- The hospital has received the 2020 Clinical Site Excellence Award through affiliation with a community college ultrasound program.
- The hospital promotes a family-like atmosphere with a focus on teamwork.
- New equipment, policies supporting high-level disinfection via Trophon probe cleaning systems, and operational details are highlighted.
