Description

Job Summary:
This position is for a Mammographer in Santa Monica, California. The role involves performing screening and diagnostic mammograms in a breast center environment. Candidates are required to bring their California license on the first day.

Job Details:

Location: Santa Monica, California
Specialty: Mammographer
Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid California license, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, minimum 1 year of mammography experience, proficiency in digital mammography, stereotactic biopsy, and screening/diagnostic mammograms. Candidates must have completed 40 hours initial mammography training, performed at least 25 supervised mammograms, and have 200 mammograms in the last 24 months.
Additional Information: Weekend availability is required with every other Saturday rotation from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Must have documentation of 15 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) in mammography in the last 36 months, and 8 hours each of digital training and 3D mammography training.
Certifications must be current and actual paper certificates.
Must be willing to work in a breast center environment with screening and diagnostic mammograms.
All travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state of California.
References: Two references covering at least one year within the last three years are required.
Must disclose license and background check results upfront; no open license hits will be approved.
