Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Aurora, Colorado. This travel position involves working in a high-acuity unit with a focus on pediatric and neonatal respiratory care. The role requires a minimum of six months of current acute care hospital experience as a respiratory therapist, and candidates must bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Aurora, Colorado
- Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Candidates must hold current respiratory therapy licensure, have a minimum of six months of current acute care respiratory therapist hospital experience, and possess certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior Meditech electronic medical record experience and pediatric/neonatal intensive care unit experience are preferred.
- Additional Information: The role involves ventilator management and airway management. The environment values energetic, team-oriented, and honest individuals. Patient experience is a priority.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
