Description
Job Summary:
A position for an Ultrasonographer Echocardiography (Ultrasound Technician specializing in echocardiograms) is available in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This role involves performing pediatric and adult echocardiography procedures within a healthcare organization. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Certifications: ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography), CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) Certifications required.
- Education Requirements: Not specified.
- Degree Requirements: Not specified.
- Location Requirements: Candidates must have a minimum of 0 years of experience.
- Experience: 2 years of experience preferred.
- Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid ARDMS and CCI certifications.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult acute care, adult outpatient, bubble study, emergency department, GE imaging equipment, ICU, imaging with contrast agents, M-Mode, pediatric acute care, pharmacologic stress echo, portable studies, transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE), treadmill stress echo, and experience with neonatal and pediatric echocardiography procedures.
- Float: Not required.
- Additional Information: No float or weekend shifts required; candidate will participate in weekend and evening call rotation with current full-time staff.
