Job Summary:
The physical therapist specializing in inpatient rehabilitation located in Cypress, Texas, is responsible for providing skilled therapy services on a 2nd-floor rehab unit. This role involves patient-centered care, working with a caseload of 4-6 patients, and requires flexibility to float to additional rehab sites if census is low. Candidates are required to bring their Texas license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Cypress, Texas
• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, with rotating weekends and on-call duties
• Required Qualifications: Valid Texas license, CPR certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, inpatient rehab experience, experience with Meditech Expanse Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Preferred Qualifications: Flexibility and adaptability, passion for rehab, ability to treat various levels of patients
• Additional Information: Work involves float to other rehab sites if census is low. Scrub attire is navy. The unit has 23 beds and a staffing pattern that includes day shift with rotating weekends. The typical procedures performed include skilled therapy interventions. The ideal candidate is someone who is flexible, adaptable, passionate about rehab, and capable of working with diverse patient needs.
