Description
Job Summary:
Houston, Texas Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This position involves performing nuclear medicine imaging procedures in a busy hospital department. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating advanced imaging equipment and ensuring patient safety throughout the procedures.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (N) certification, CNMT certification, at least 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, and flexible to float within the department.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Siemens ECAM SPECT equipment, proficiency in drawing labs, and ability to start IVs.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include conducting procedures such as HIDA scans, stress tests, and tumor localization. Candidates should have an upbeat and friendly personality, be team players, and adhere to scrub dress code in hunter green scrubs. Weekend and evening shifts, along with some on-call responsibilities, may be part of the schedule.
