Job Summary:
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Inpatient position located in Corpus Christi, Texas. This role involves patient evaluation and treatment in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The candidate will work on a team to deliver quality care, adhering to facility guidelines and policies.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift with 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in speech-language pathology, current state licensure, basic life support (BLS) certification. No minimum years of experience required.
- Facility Information: The unit has 15 beds and a staff of 20, including PTs, OTs, and rehab techs. Typical procedures include evaluations, treatments, and MBS for speech therapy.
- Personnel Fit: Candidates who enjoy team collaboration and are energetic are preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required in this role.
- Additional Information: The unit operates in an acute care hospital setting. The work environment includes basic lift equipment and therapy tools.
