Description

Job Summary
An MRI Technologist position is available in Omaha, Nebraska. This role involves performing quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures under the supervision of a qualified radiologist to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, with shift hours from 0900 to 1730, Monday through Friday. Call and holiday requirements as scheduled.
Required Qualifications:
- Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), Certified MRI Technologist ARRT (MR)
- Education & Experience: Minimum 5 years MRI experience; Minimum 1 year Level I Trauma Hospital experience; Experience with Phillips MRI equipment
- Licenses: ARRT (MRI)
- Skills: Proficient with computers/computer systems to include basic navigation and use of email applications
- Location Requirement: Willing to wait for license submission

Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information:
- Non-billable orientation hours: 12 hours; guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation.
- Call-off policy allows the client to call off the equivalent of 36 hours every 13 weeks.
- Work environment includes seven MRI scanners on campus.
- Must adhere to dress code: red uniforms.
- Will perform MRI procedures using Philips MRI Scanner and GE Scanner; utilize EPIC for electronic medical records and McKesson for imagining.
- Ability to communicate effectively and multi-task required; must handle challenging interactions appropriately.
- Holidays as needed and scheduled.
