Description
Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RRT) specializing in ICU and Emergency Department settings is needed in Berlin, Vermont. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This assignment is slated to start on June 22, 2026, and lasts approximately 13 to 16 weeks. The role involves working various shifts, including every other weekend, with a focus on neonate and pediatric patient populations, particularly in NICU and PICU environments.

- Required Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
- Neonate and pediatric NICU and PICU experience, with significant patient care roles in these settings, even without dedicated NICU/PICU assignments
- Minimum of 2 years experience
- All specialties must be thoroughly documented in employment entries
- EPIC electronic medical record experience within the past 2 years (non-negotiable)
- Additional Information:
- No block schedules; shifts are scheduled from Monday to Sunday
- Bi-weekly orientation sessions on Mondays
- Candidates must have reliable transportation (personal vehicle or rental), equipped with all-season or snow tires between November and April
- Holidays as needed, working the minimum every other weekend and schedule adjustments per unit and patient care needs
- Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained prior to submission
- Complete work history information, including bed count, EMR, and facility type, is required for submission
