Description

Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered position available in Houston, Texas. This role involves providing respiratory therapy services in an adult intensive care unit with specialized units including Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4 neonatal intensive care units, as well as pediatric intensive care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The assignment duration begins on July 6, 2026.

Job Details:

  • Location: Houston, Texas
  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Current Respiratory Therapist (RT) license; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications; no minimum experience required; valid certifications necessary to work in adult ICU, NICU, and PICU environments.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with intubations, surfactant administration, delivery procedures, and pediatric critical care experience.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information:
    • Ability to work in adult ICU, Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4 NICU units, as well as pediatric floors
    • Knowledge and experience with equipment such as Crossvent, Airvo, Bunnell Jet, Drager VN500, Hamilton G5, Evolve Nitric Oxide, pneuton, Oscillator
    • Fast learner with a professional demeanor
    • Dress code: Gray monogramed scrubs
    • Time and attendance enforcement: Must be clocked in and ready for report no later than 6:37 am / 6:37 pm
    • Schedule includes four weekend shifts every four-week cycle
