Description
Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position in Houston, Texas. This role involves providing respiratory care in a pediatric intensive care setting, with a focus on NICU and PICU patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Houston, Texas
- Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and BLS (Basic Life Support); relevant NICU and PICU experience; no minimum experience required; location in Houston, Texas.
- Preferred Qualifications: PALS certification, adult experience.
- Schedule: 8-9 dayshifts per two-week schedule, with 4 weekend shifts required per four-week schedule.
- Additional Information: The unit is a pediatric and adult critical care unit on the 4th floor with approximately 8-9 staff members per shift. Procedures include intubation and surfactant administration. Candidates must be adept at pediatric critical care.
