Description
Job Summary:
The city of Reno, Nevada, is seeking a qualified Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist to join the healthcare team as a Perinatal Sonographer. This role involves performing sonographic examinations related to women's health, with a focus on obstetrics and fetal imaging. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Required Qualifications: ARDMS in Obstetrics or Gynecology, BLS certification, minimum of 2 years of experience in Clinic/Inpatient scans and Women's Health, ability to obtain and maintain a Nuchal Translucency certification from an accredited source at time of hire, with fetal echocardiography and nasal bone certifications strongly preferred. Experience with Clinic/Inpatient scans is required.
- Schedule: Days shift; 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on Fridays, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level. May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period. The organization reserves the right to call off, without penalty, 48 hours prior for low census per 13-week contract.
