Job Summary:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) specializing in pediatric and neonatal intensive care located in Aurora, Colorado. This position involves providing specialized respiratory care in a hospital setting, with a focus on pediatric ICU, neonatal ICU, pediatric emergency department, and trauma care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of the assignment.

  • Required Qualifications: Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Cardiopulmonary; minimum 3 years pediatric ICU experience; minimum 3 years neonatal ICU (Level 3 or 4) experience; minimum 1 year pediatric emergency department experience; minimum 1 year pediatric Level 1 trauma experience; 5 years of RRT experience; licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); candidates must have prior travel assignment experience; no more than 10 days off requested during the contract; schedule aligns with the assigned shift and coverage requirements.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 4 years pediatric ICU experience; minimum 4 years neonatal ICU experience.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required; personnel may be floated within a 35-mile radius of the original facility to meet staffing needs.
  • Additional Information:
    • RTO (Requested Time Off): No more than 10 days off during the contract; no RTO approval within the first 2 weeks of assignment.
    • RTO blackout dates: August 1-10, August 28-September 5, October 8-17, October 29-November 2.
    • Must work Labor Day.
    • Guaranteed schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday Swing shift from 11:30AM to Midnight; shifts may be converted if canceled due to staffing.
    • The assignment duration is 13 weeks, starting August 4, 2026, and ending November 7, 2026.
