Job Summary:
A Licensed Interventional Radiology (IR) / Special Procedure Technologist is sought for a position in Farmington, Connecticut. This role involves working in a healthcare environment requiring the incumbent to bring their license on the first day. The position entails assisting with interventional and special radiographic procedures within a diverse clinical setting, supporting the interdisciplinary team, and ensuring patient safety and procedural efficacy.
Job Details:
- Location: Farmington, Connecticut
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with start times at 7:00 a.m., 7:30 a.m., or 8:00 a.m. on a rotating basis. The position requires working 40 hours per week, including rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call duties.
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a Radiography Technician Registry (Radiography Registry R.T.) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); two years of experience performing interventional and special radiographic procedures; hybrid Interventional radiology experience preferred; Connecticut State license to practice radiography; active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with hybrid interventional radiology procedures and cardiac or vascular interventional registry by ARRT or registry eligible with obtaining certification within six months of employment.
- Additional Information: Mandatory Overtime may be required, including extra hours on an as-needed basis to ensure coverage for the unit.
