Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered in Alexandria, Virginia. This position involves providing high-quality respiratory care and support to patients within the healthcare facility. Candidates are required to bring their current Virginia license on the first day. The role includes evaluating patients, administering treatments, operating ventilatory equipment, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

Location: Alexandria, Virginia
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Current Virginia license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, no minimum years of experience required
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with invasive and non-invasive ventilatory equipment, familiarity with pulmonary procedures such as bronchoscopy, chest tube placement, and tracheostomy care
Additional Information: Provides comprehensive respiratory care including evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation. Operates various ventilatory and diagnostic equipment, performs advanced airway management, and follows all policies related to laboratory testing and patient safety.
