Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer Echo specializing in cardiac sonography is sought in Montrose, Colorado. This position involves performing a variety of transthoracic, stress, dobutamine, and transesophageal echocardiograms, with the ability to interpret and document findings accurately. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work.
Job Details:
- Location: Montrose, Colorado
- Schedule: Days, Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday, from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, with a shift hours of 10 per day and a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography (RDCS), BLS (Basic Life Support) certification on hire, and a minimum of zero years of experience. Education requirements include being RDCS registered. Candidates must bring their license on the first day.
- Preferred Qualifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification is preferred.
- Additional Information: The Ultrasonographer Echo will be responsible for performing various echocardiograms and assisting physicians with transesophageal exams. The role involves maintaining equipment, managing workload fluctuations, and ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff. The position requires knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, excellent communication, and organizational skills.
