Description
Job Summary:
The location is in Louisville, Kentucky. This MRI Technologist position involves working with neuro patients, including spine, strokes, and head traumas, in a fast-paced hospital environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role is scheduled for day shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 07/06/2026.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 12-hour shift hours, with weekend rotation based on unit needs, and 1-2 days of on-call per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in ARRT (MR) or AMRIT, BLS certification, Kentucky license (unless grandfathered in), at least 1 year of acute inpatient MRI experience, experience with neuro patients including spine, strokes, and head traumas, and experience with Cerner electronic medical record system.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working independently during shifts, familiarity with Siemens Vida 3T and GE Signa HDxt 1.5T MRI equipment, and previous support of student athletes.
- Additional Information: The department operates 24/7 radiologist support and other MRI technologists. Orientation is typically two weeks. Scrub color is ceiling blue. Parking is free with badge access.
