Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient in Bradenton, Florida. This position involves providing occupational therapy services within an inpatient rehabilitation unit and an acute care hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their active license on the first day. The role requires flexible weekend scheduling and a commitment to supporting patient care needs on the IRF unit.

Job Details:

• Location: Bradenton, Florida
• Schedule: Day shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, shift hours are 10 hours each
• Required Qualifications: Active occupational therapy license, active BLS certification, zero years of experience required, candidate must be flexible with weekend availability and willing to work on an inpatient rehabilitation unit.
• Preferred Qualifications: Hospital or inpatient rehabilitation facility experience, stroke/neuro experience, willingness to work on IRF unit, teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Additional Information: This role involves working in two therapy gyms and an ADL apartment, with expectations to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff. The unit services a 28-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility and a 383-bed acute care hospital, with a staff of 15 occupational therapists.
• Unit Details: Therapy staff services the entire facility; patient ratios are approximately 4 patients/day in IRF and 8-12 patients/day in acute care. Equipment includes two therapy gyms and an ADL apartment.
