Job Summary:
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position in Lamar, Colorado, offers an opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility. The role involves providing patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, assisting with various therapies across inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Lamar, Colorado
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of and certified from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program; current credentialing by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, Division of Professions and Occupations, State Physical Therapy Board; verification of current instruction in Basic Life Support (BLS); a minimum of two (2) years of outpatient experience preferred; bi-lingual capabilities are helpful.
• Special Demands: Must have astute communication skills with employees, physicians, visitors, administration, and the public; ability to operate equipment, perform technical procedures, speak professionally, and exercise supervision and management skills.
• Additional Information: Work in a clean, well-lighted, heated, and air-conditioned rehabilitation gymnasium, with exposure to unpleasant sights, smells, and infectious diseases possible.
