Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a full-time position in a medical facility located in Austin, Texas. This role involves performing cardiac nuclear medicine procedures and other diagnostic tests, with candidates required to bring their professional license on the first day. The position is for a permanent staff member working day shifts.
Job Details:
- Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NUC)
- Location: Austin, Texas
- Shift: Days, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Schedule: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in nuclear medicine technology, relevant education or degree, Texas licensure, and zero years of experience are required.
- Additional Information: The assignment involves working on a unit with 72 beds, performing procedures such as Stress Tests, PYP, and HIDA scans. The unit maintains a family atmosphere with specific dress code requirements, including olive green scrub tops and black pants. The facility offers new equipment, technology, and a collaborative staff environment.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Position Details:
- Backfill - Contract position for 13 weeks
- Unit has permanent positions available
- Typical recruiting focus for cardiac nuclear medicine procedures
- Must have: Experience with cardiac nuclear medicine procedures are required; candidates without these skills will not be considered.
- Preferred or nice-to-have skills include familiarity with the Siemens EMR systems Meditech and Synapse.
