Description

Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist (OT) - Inpatient Rehabilitation in Twin Falls, Idaho. This role involves providing occupational therapy services within an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting. Candidates are expected to have their license on the first day and should be prepared to work 8-hour days on a schedule of four 10-hour shifts from 07:30 to 18:00. All applicants must meet the qualification requirements and adhere to facility policies.

  • Experience or Must Have Skills & Common Job Duties: At least 1 year of licensed experience in acute inpatient or rehab settings; flexibility for first-time travelers.
  • Certification Requirements: BLS Certification
  • Clinical Experience: Experience with orthopedic total joints, neuro-stroke patients, and medical or ICU patients.
  • EMR System: EPIC
  • Scheduling & Orientation: No self-scheduling; 2-3 days of unit-specific orientation is typical.
  • Coverage Areas: Acute Inpatient and Rehab units, with potential ICU coverage depending on experience and need.
  • Staffing: Rehab aides utilized; no Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).
  • Dress Code: Scrubs permitted, with color matching restrictions based on available options.
  • Other Information: Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered. The client may cancel up to 4 shifts within the 13-week assignment.
