Description
Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General in Butte, Montana. This position involves performing ultrasound procedures to obtain high-quality imaging results in accordance with physicians' specifications. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Sonography or related field.
- Two (2) years of experience in general and vascular ultrasound procedures (excluding ABI and segmental pressure).
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) registry certification.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Schedule:
- Days shift, 40 hours per week.
- Minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information:
- Responsible for operating ultrasound imaging and related equipment, ensuring image quality, and following infection prevention policies.
- Duties include patient education, positioning, immobilization, and sterile technique practices.
- Must coordinate examinations to ensure timeliness and quality of patient care.
- Utilize computer systems including the Microsoft Office Suite and relevant applications.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
