Job Summary:
The Ultrasonographer Echo (Echocardiography) position is based in Wilson, North Carolina. This role involves performing cardiac ultrasound imaging to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of adult patients. Candidates are required to bring their applicable license on the first day of the assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Wilson, North Carolina
• Specialty: Ultrasonographer Echo
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Cardiac Sonographer with stress test and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) proficiency; 2+ years of experience; certifications in Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer (RCS); current license required and must be brought at start; experience with Meditech Electronic Health Record system preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Five years of experience in the specialty; proficiency with stress test and TEE procedures.
• Additional Information: Orientation is bi-weekly with upcoming start dates on 06/22 and 07/06. The position involves working in a 190-bed hospital, with three stress echo rooms and patient ratios of 1:1. Equipment includes Phillips Epiq and GE Vivid systems. The unit cares for adult patients, with a focus on diagnoses such as ACS, HF, Afib, Shock, and CVA.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
