Job Summary:
The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position is located in Sarasota, Florida. This role involves supporting a cardiac catheterization laboratory, performing procedures such as LHC, RHC, PCI, shockwave, PPM, Impella, and intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) management. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced equipment and technology within a dynamic clinical setting.

Job Details:

• Location: Sarasota, Florida
• Schedule: Days, 8 hours shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Cath lab experience, Impella, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), vascular/peripheral intervention experience, EMR experience with Meditech, no minimum experience required, Florida state license, and valid certification in cardiac cath lab technology.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with vascular/peripheral interventions, additional specialized procedures.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The work schedule includes working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff. The lab has 2 dedicated beds, and the team consists of 10 staff members including RNs and technicians, with specific shift coverage. The unit utilizes GE EMR software and maintains high standards with new equipment and technology to support clinical procedures.
