Job Summary:
Radiology Technician specializing in Nuclear Medicine located in McAllen, Texas. This position involves working in a Radiology (Nuclear Medicine) unit performing various procedures with a focus on GE equipment and adhering to Radiation Safety and Texas Regulations. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: McAllen, Texas
• Schedule: Day Shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: CNMT certification, Texas Medical Board licensing, no minimum years of experience required, candidates must have experience with GE equipment and familiarity with GE Nuc Med equipment, cardiac imaging, Radiation Safety, and Texas Regulations.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Y-90 procedures; experience with lymphoscintigraphy procedures.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position entails rotational on-call duties and availability to assist with weekend shifts. The unit primarily performs procedures such as Lexi Scans, Hida Scans, Gastric Emptying, Pulmonary Ventilation, Bone Scan, Liver Scans, Thyroid Scans, Renal Scans, and GI Bleed.
