Job Summary:
The Miami, Florida area is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) with Pediatric (PEDS) specialization for a hospital-based position. The role involves providing treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases utilizing advanced technologies and medication delivery methods. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Miami, Florida
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Candidates must have a current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; two (2) years of current acute care hospital Respiratory Therapy (RRT) experience; NICU/PICU experience; and Meditech electronic medical record experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous Meditech experience is preferred.
• Additional Information: Respiratory Therapists on this unit provide treatments such as high flow devices, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, and other advanced respiratory therapies. The role requires team collaboration, critical thinking, patient care focus, adaptability to a fast-paced environment, and a collaborative multidisciplinary approach. A light gray (silver) uniform is required during shifts.
