Description

Job Summary:
A Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position is available in Phoenix, Arizona. The role requires experience in Level I trauma settings with a focus on interventional procedures, electrophysiology, and vascular cases. The technologist will support a busy Cath Lab team with responsibilities including circulating and scrubbing for complex cardiac cases, and working with advanced imaging equipment. This position offers a dynamic environment suitable for qualified professionals with a minimum of two years of Cath Lab experience.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour days plus call, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: BLS certification, ARRT certification if technologist, valid Arizona license, minimum two years Cath Lab experience, certification in ARRT, MRT, or CRT, and current AZ license
  • Specific Duties: Support for interventional, electrophysiology (EP), peripheral vascular, TAVR, MitraClip, IABP, and Emtala placement cases; work with Phillips and Siemens equipment; support Endoscopy and Cardiovascular Operating Room; circulate and scrub for cases, including vascular and cardiac procedures
  • Certifications: ARRT, BLS, and Arizona license required
  • Additional Information: Typical case volume of 10-25 cases per day, with a 30-minute response time expected; use Cerner and Xper charting systems; orientation includes 2 days on the job; weekend call requirement of 8-12 days per month; holidays included in rotation; scrub color provided; no RT 24/7 or pharmacy 24/7 coverage needed; no trauma level requirement specified; employer allows cancellation of up to 4 shifts in a 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments.
