Description
Job Summary:
Radiology Ultrasonographer General is sought for a healthcare facility in Durango, Colorado. This position involves performing general, obstetric and gynecologic, and vascular ultrasound procedures within a radiology department. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ARDMS (RDMS, RDCS, or RVT). RDMS (General or Obstetric and Gynecologic), RVT preferred (RDCS bonus). Education/background includes a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts on variable days, typically from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with call responsibilities 1-2 nights per week and every third weekend.
- Department specific equipment includes Phillips ultrasound machines.
- Average of 8-10 scans/studies per day, sometimes more.
- The facility utilizes EPIC electronic medical records and PACS software and hardware.
- In-house radiologists are available, except during on-call periods.
- Department involves general, obstetric and gynecologic, and vascular imaging, procedures, drains, and biopsies.
- No need to start IVs.
- Fluency in professional scrubs and department-specific orientation are required.
- Cancellation policy allows up to four shifts cancellation per 13-week assignment.
- Division: yes, if needed.
- Location: Durango, Colorado. Candidates must submit a Colorado license/d License to submit is not required.
