Job Summary:
Radiology Technician position available in Bakersfield, California. The role involves providing XRAY TECH services in a fast-paced imaging department. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. Job Details:

  • Location: Bakersfield, California

  • Schedule: Days shift, Saturday through Monday, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association, valid license to submit, at least 2 years of radiology experience, no minimum experience years required for initial screening, minimum of 0 years experience listed

  • Additional Information: Experience performing brain, MRCP, ABD, pelvis, extremities studies; work involving approximately 100 scans or studies per day; flexibility to float to nearby facilities; department equipped with GE and Toshiba imaging equipment; in-house radiologist coverage; orientation provided by lead tech for at least one week; rotation call response time of 30 minutes; hospital cancellation policies apply as per shifts scheduled
  • Certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA)
  • Start Date: June 22, 2026
  • Department Specific Equipment: GE and Toshiba radiology imaging systems
  • Department Notes: Lead tech orientation, possible float to other facilities, campus has in-house radiologist, no IV start required
