Description

Job Summary:
The profession is X-ray Technologist, with the position located in Silverdale, Washington. The position offers a diverse schedule with shifts that may vary between ten and twelve hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Shift times depend on the department needs and can include a mix of ten-hour and twelve-hour shifts for both day and night coverage, with shifts typically posted at least two weeks in advance.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification in Current Basic Life Support (BLS), certification as a Radiologic Technologist with ARRT (R), and a license to submit are required. The selected candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in general radiography, fluoroscopy, and operating room exams.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EMR systems such as EPIC and PACS like SECTRA is preferred, along with proficiency in department-specific equipment such as GE, Phillips, and Siemens imaging systems.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required, enabling coverage between general X-ray, fluoroscopy, operating room, emergency department, and portable imaging.
  • Additional Information: The department operates 24/7 with radiologists on site at all times. The position involves performing approximately 80-100 studies per day and adhering to departmental orientation procedures. A Radiation Badge is required prior to starting. The healthcare provider may cancel up to four shifts within a 13-week assignment or three shifts in shorter assignments.
