Job Summary:
A Mammographer position is available in Sacramento, California. The role involves outpatient mammography services, including 3-D Mammography, Digital Mammography, and Radiation Safety. The selected candidate will provide X-ray coverage and perform screening mammograms in a fast-paced outpatient environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Certifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or MARRT (Mammography Accreditation and Certification), BLS (Basic Life Support) All certifications must be in hand at the time of submission.
• Education and Experience: Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience required.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Medical and operational requirements include experience with 3-D Mammography, Digital Mammography, Digital Quality Assurance Procedures, Hologic 3D system, Radiation Safety, Screening Mammograms, and adherence to Universal Precautions and PPE protocols.
• Additional responsibilities encompass lab work within 3-5 days of signing and verification of current Nursys license within the last two weeks.
• Candidate must provide a 7-year work history, two references obtained within the past year, and copies of all required certifications.
• Travel requirements include being available within 3-5 days for lab work and of at least 50 miles; locals are accepted at the local rate.
• Onboarding includes completing modules during orientation, recorded through e-learning, with hours typically between 1-5 hours.
