Description
Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient located in Waco, Texas. This contract position involves treating outpatient orthopedic injuries in a clinic setting as part of a team of healthcare professionals. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Physical Therapy; current license for the state of practice; outpatient orthopedic experience of at least 1 year; manual therapy techniques experience of at least 1 year
- Additional Information: The role involves evaluating and treating patients with musculoskeletal injuries. Effective communication of treatment plans and evaluations to medical teams is essential. Reporting patient progress to in-house and specialty doctors such as orthopedic surgeons and hand surgeons is required. The position also includes assisting colleagues in identifying issues. Experience treating 14-16 patients per day, as well as practicing as a physical therapist for 2 years and treating sprains, strains, and fractures for 2 years, are highly desired.
