Job Summary:
The Tampa, Florida-based Orthopedics X-ray Technologist position involves providing specialized imaging services within an orthopedic unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role supports the organization's commitment to delivering quality orthopedic care through skilled imaging practices.

Job Details:

• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Education and Experience: 2+ years of experience as an X-ray Technologist, with proficiency in C-Arm injections; candidates must have a valid license and relevant certification.
• Location: Tampa, FL
• Schedule: Day shift, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: ARRT certification, BLS certification, minimum of 2 years of experience, eligible to work within the state of Florida, ability to perform C-Arm injections in orthopedic imaging.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior orthopedic imaging experience is preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position involves working in an orthopedic environment with patient types including adult reconstructions, foot/ankle, spine, hand, and upper extremities. Responsibilities will include performing scheduled X-ray procedures utilizing GE PACS and Epic EMR, with a focus on orthopedic cases. The unit has 16 beds, and the typical patient volume is 50-70 X-rays per day. The dress code is scrubs in any color, and unacceptable attire includes non-scrub clothing.
