Description
Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) position available in a pediatric-focused healthcare facility in Corpus Christi, Texas. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care in a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and pediatric setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Corpus Christi, Texas
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification, licensed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBR), with 3-5 years of pediatric experience in a Level IV NICU or comparable setting, including strong pediatric skills. The candidate must have PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications. A minimum of 2 years of overall experience is required.
- Additional Information: The candidate must have strong Pediatric Emergency Department (PEDS) experience, prefer candidates with 5 years of pediatric experience, and must have COVID-19 vaccination with no exemptions. No time off will be granted for the 8-13 week contract, and any absences may impact employment status. Only candidates with no CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) and who are not local will be considered, with a 100-mile radius rule.
