Job Summary
MRI Technologist role located in New York, NY. This position involves operating and preparing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce diagnostic images. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers a rotating shift schedule with hours from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM on weekdays and 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, with a minimum of 38 hours per week.
Job Details
- Location: New York, NY
- Schedule: Rotating shifts; Wednesday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM, Saturday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, minimum of 38 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T. approved program in Radiologic Technology; NY State License in Diagnostic Radiology; ARRT MRI registry; BCLS Certified; two (2) years' experience in MRI; strong background in cross-sectional anatomy, physical sciences, and MRI physics; excellent organizational skills

- Additional Information: This role requires strict adherence to safety guidelines, including safety standards for ferromagnetic materials, infection control policies, and equipment maintenance. Professional development and compliance with licensure standards are expected.
