Description
Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist MRI position available in Madison, Wisconsin. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role involves performing technical imaging examinations and complex, specialized procedures utilizing a variety of imaging equipment and systems at a designated healthcare facility.
Job Details:
- Location: Madison, Wisconsin
- Start Date: June 29, 2026
- Schedule: Nights, 8-hour shifts on Friday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Saturday and Sunday 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and Monday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, totaling 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of clinical experience in MRI imaging
- Certification from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Magnetic Resonance (MR)
- Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Valid license as specified
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with inpatient and outpatient MRI procedures
- Experience with GE imaging systems within the last 18-24 months
- Experience with charting system Epic is preferred
- Trauma Level II experience is preferred
- Travel experience is not specified
- Additional Information:
- Must be able to perform complex and specialized MRI procedures, including MRA, MRV, and other advanced imaging techniques
- Will work independently across all patient age groups at multiple locations within the facility
- Responsibilities include maintenance, repairs, quality assurance, and collaboration with staff to prioritize procedures
- Must pass a pass/fail telemetry exam with a strict passing score, including adult and pediatric cardiac interpretation assessments, with up to three attempts allowed
