Description
Job Summary:
The position of MRI Technologist is located in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans safely and efficiently according to established guidelines and protocols. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The MRI technologist will collaborate with Radiologists, Lead Imaging Specialists, and fellow technologists to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid MRI technologist license; certifications such as ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or equivalent; educational background in radiologic technology or related field; no previous experience required; location in Massachusetts
- Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, spine anatomy, neurovascular anatomy, and head and neck anatomy, including common head and neck diseases; experience working independently and in team settings
- Additional Information: The role requires sound knowledge of MRI protocols, patient positioning, and imaging safety procedures to ensure optimal diagnostic results and patient safety
