Job Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist position is located in Walterboro, South Carolina. The role involves providing specialized respiratory care in a hospital setting, including managing ventilators, administering breathing treatments, and performing assessments such as arterial blood gases. Candidates are required to bring valid licensure on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP; State license required; RRT or CRT certification preferred.
• Education and Experience: 0+ years of experience acceptable; must possess a valid State license.
• Location: Walterboro, South Carolina.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, with weekends and holidays in rotation, starting on 06/08/2026.
• Duration: Position involves working every other weekend and rotating holidays in accordance with facility policy.
• Unit: Level of respiratory care including vents, breathing treatments, ABGs, BiPaps, and oxygen delivery.
• General Responsibilities: Perform breathings treatments, walk tests, BiPap setup, vent maintenance and settings, assist intubation, and arterial blood gases.
• Additional Information: No float required; shift includes night hours with scheduled holidays in rotation.
