Job Summary:
Mammographer in Sacramento, California. This position involves performing routine and specialized breast imaging procedures, including 3D mammography and digital mammography, to support diagnostic and screening efforts. The ideal candidate will work independently, exercising sound clinical judgment and ensuring high-quality imaging results. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Certifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), ARRT (R), BLS (Basic Life Support) in hand at the time of submission
• Education/Experience: 2 years of experience performing diagnostic mammograms and digital mammography, with proficiency in Hologic 3D imaging and digital quality assurance procedures
• Certification required at submission: Copy of certifications; all certifications must be AHA (American Heart Association) or American Red Cross
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license, COVID-19 and flu vaccinations, Nursys verification within the last 2 weeks, candidate must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing, Minimum 2 years of mammography experience, experience with Epic charting system, and minimum 7-year work history verification
• Additional Information: Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate, travel requirement of 50 miles, only one holiday RTO approval, must include former manager name on application, and submission must include a Sutter Cover Sheet and two references obtained within the last year. Background policy notes if there are any background hits or DUIs.
