Description

Job Summary:
The Radiation Therapist position is located in Lacey, Washington. This role involves providing advanced radiation therapy treatments to adult patients in outpatient settings, utilizing various treatment modalities such as Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), and more. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position follows a 5x8 day shift schedule from Monday to Friday.

Job Details:

Location: Lacey, Washington
Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 0730-1600, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Washington State License, and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Therapeutic (ARRT-T); one year of experience in a radiation therapy setting; experience with adult outpatient treatments; proficiency in treatment planning and imaging systems such as Eclipse (Varian), ARIA, and CBCT/kV/mV imaging.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of adult acute care and outpatient settings, experience with treatment devices and billing for treatment types, familiarity with various treatment procedures and equipment as outlined.
Additional Information: The role involves working with a variety of malignant and benign patient diagnoses, including SRS, SBRT, IMRT, 3D, IGRT, and electron setups. Candidates will support daily caseloads of 50-60 patients and utilize specialized equipment and techniques to deliver precise radiation therapy. Submission requires two references covering one year (or six months for CNAs) within the last three years, including charge RNs or lead staff.
