Job Summary:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist position is based in Lakewood, California. This role involves performing a variety of nuclear medicine imaging and procedures in a healthcare facility setting. Candidates are required to bring their valid California State License on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist), ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), CPI Blue Card from the Crisis Prevention Institute (must be in-hand when applying)
• Education/Experience: 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine or related field, with no minimum years of experience specified otherwise
• Location: Lakewood, California
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid CA State License required in-hand when applying; relevant certifications listed above; EPIC experience noted in work history; two supervisor references required; COVID-19 vaccine and booster (no exemptions); flu vaccine (no exemptions)
• Additional Information: All Float Pool nurses must obtain a CPI Blue Card. All required certifications and licenses must be in-hand when applying. Agency will accept local candidates at the same rate.
• Resources/Procedures: Experience with GE, Hitachi, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba, HIDA Scan, DTPA Aerosol, Perfusion, Ventilation/Perfusion, Cancer Survey, I-123 Uptake Scan, Pharmacological Stress, Thallium stress test, Isolation Precautions/PPE, and starting and maintaining IVs.EPIC experience required and must be documented in work history.
• Travel & Compliance: RTO (Right to Obtain Time Off) not permitted within the first two weeks of the assignment; maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract preferred. RTO approval requires a screenshot of traveler confirming.
• Interview & Modules: Manager may or may not conduct an interview; modules are billable with an average of 4-8 hours spent on them. Additional hours post-orientation are non-billable. Modules are completed during orientation or at home if not completed onsite.
• Submission Requirements: RTO confirmation screenshot, supervisor references, and validation of certifications and licenses are mandatory before consideration.
