Description

Job Summary:
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The role involves performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures in a busy cath lab environment. Candidates are required to bring their valid Oklahoma or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license on the first day of assignment. This position requires the ability to work scheduled days with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week, with overnight, weekend, and holiday call required
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Oklahoma or Compact RN license (required at time of submission), valid Allied license if applicable; certifications include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and Cardiac Catheterization Interventional (CCI or RCIS); minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting; experience with diagnostic and interventional procedures such as left and right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, and IABP placement/removal; proficiency with EMR systems like Pyxis and Epic; ability to interpret dysrhythmias and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with complex cath lab procedures, working with adult patients, and familiarity with sterile techniques.
  • Float: Unless specifically stated otherwise, travelers will be expected to float to like units within their scope, as needed based on facility needs. Travelers will receive brief orientation on the unit.
  • Additional Information: Holiday Call Required. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in a cardiac cath lab setting.
