Description
Job Summary:
Mammographer position available in Detroit, Michigan. The role involves assisting in breast biopsy procedures, including needle localizations, stereotactic biopsies, and ductograms. The selected candidate will be responsible for instructing and positioning patients to obtain diagnostic-quality radiographs, ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are maintained within the facility.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Two or more years of Mammography experience; ARRT (M) Certification; BLS (AHA) Certification; located in or willing to work in Detroit, Michigan.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with breast biopsy procedures and patient positioning.
- Additional Information: Assists in breast biopsy procedures including needle localizations, stereotactic biopsies, and ductograms. Ensures a safe, clean, and well-equipped work environment. Manually enters data for dictation and billing purposes. Adherence to all facility policies and procedures is required.
