Job Summary:
Minnesota The facility is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer for a 13-week assignment. The professional will perform comprehensive echocardiographic studies utilizing all cardiac echo imaging modalities and procedures necessary to gather patient data. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Proven ability to work with co-workers, physicians, and all levels of healthcare professionals.
• Knowledge of cardiac pathophysiology, diagnostic procedures, and patient care procedures.
• Minimum of one (1) year of cardiac experience is preferred and candidates must be registry eligible.
• Must have at least one (1) year experience in adult and pediatric cardiac sonography, including transesophageal and stress echo.
• Experience with outreach services is helpful.
• Competent in adult TTE, inpatient and outpatient, emergency settings with a comprehensive understanding of cardiac hemodynamics, PISA quantification, strain, and simple pediatric indications such as murmur and bicuspid aortic valve for patients five years old and older.
• Experience with Definity, Optison, and bubble studies (agitated saline).
• Certifications & Education: Associates degree or graduation from a CAAHEP accredited sonography program; ARDMS-Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or CCI-Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS); BLS certification.
• Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, varying shifts from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. No weekends or call.
• The Cardiac Sonographer is expected to be available for 24-hour call within a 30-minute response time as needed.
